Information leaflets

A number of information leaflets for patients, families and professionals have been developed below.  To access the information, please click on the appropriate button. Others leaflets are in development so please check back soon for more information.

The network produced a booklet; “Sickle Cell – a guide for teachers” to try to help schools and teachers better understand the condition.  A Transcranial Doppler Scan – child friendly format leaflet has also been developed.  If either of these documents are needed, please ask your local doctor or nurse for a copy as they are not available electronically.

If you require a leaflet in a different language, please speak with a member of your healthcare team who can contact SPAH to progress.
